Want to know something ironic about me? While behind the camera, I get explosions of ideas and energy during a session. However, put me in front and my brain shuts down! So I know how uncomfortable it feels to have a camera lens pointed at you! That's why I prefer lifestyle photography vs. staged poses. And why my shooting style may be a bit different. So, I thought I would give you a quick rundown of what a session with me would be like:

• When you arrive, we will chat a bit to get everyone comfortable and I will go over basic instructions again.
• Basic instructions: I may place you in position and provide some guidelines like "put your hands like this" or "tilt your chin down a bit," but for the most part I enjoy when we walk the location and let inspiration hit as I see the interaction between you and your loved ones.
• I will pause our walk and start shooting rapid fire shots while you walk/talk/laugh to capture the most genuine emotions and expressions possible.
• You will receive lightly-edited previews of all the best shots (basically excluding eyes closed, half smiles, etc.) and get to choose your # of favorites based on the package you selected.
• I will do detailed edits of those favorites and then provide a link with a PIN to download! This email will also contain your limited copyright release. (Photographer retains copyright but provides personal use and printing rights.)
